- I got my private domain name, http://www.einstein1905.info/, there I moved my private contents from here. (2003/8)
- The project of comparison of formulation of the Einstein equation has web page now. The second workshop will be held at Mexico in December 2003. (2003/5)
- I made a 4-hour lecture on Numerical Relativity at "APCTP winter school on Gravitation and Cosmology", Korea, January 17-18, 2003. A lecture note and viewgraphs are available from [Lecture Note/Viewgraphs] (2003/1)
- I wrote a review on the formulation problem in numerical relativity. A manuscript is available from this page, or [pdf 1.4 M] [ps 2.3 M]. (2002/9)
- Morris-Thorne's traversible wormhole is traversible! Check out my article. "New Scientist" Journal has an article on this (May 25, 2002 issue). (Thanks Charles). German version is also available. (Thanks Sacha). This news seems to be famous between SF fans. Over 50 web sites are detected.

As a Researcher
I am interested in physics under strong gravity, described by general relativity. The research targets are from black-holes to the early Universe, particularly with its nonlinear natures which are studied by numerical simulations. Most of my works are related to ``numerical relativity", including both actual simulations and fundamental formulations oriented to numerical applications.
- I got my PhD at Waseda University (Tokyo, Japan) in 1995, my supervisor was Prof. Kei-ichi Maeda. I was his first student and was an associate professor of Waseda Univ. from April/1994 to October/1996.
- Research associate at General Relativity group , Physics Department, Washington University (St.Louis) from November/1996 to July/1999.
- JSPS research fellow abroad, and visited Centre for Gravitational Physics and Geometry, Department of Physics, at The Pennsylvania State University from August/1999 to March/2001.
- Special postdoctoral researcher at The Institute of Physical and Chemical Research (RIKEN), from April/2001 to December/2003. Visiting Researcher from January/2004.
- Senior scientist at The Inamori Foundation, from January/2004 to January/2006.
- In April 2006, I moved to Osaka Institute of Technology, Faculty of Information Science and Technology, as an associate professor.

- ash1d: General Relativistic Initial data and evolutions, in vacuum and plane-symmetric spacetime, using ADM and/or Ashtekar variables. The code was developed in 1999-2000.
